Los Angeles Kitchen Remodeling Themes

Popular Kitchen Themes

If you've already read my last post (if you haven't please do so) and you still don't know where to start, here are some popular and efficient Los Angeles kitchen remodeling theme ideas. Take a look:
  • Asian: This is a very nature inspired design, and is also very clean and simple. It consists of clean architectural lines and an earthy color palette
  • Cottage: This theme is extremely simple and easygoing. It's mostly a light color, like white, eggshell, beige, with a splash of a bright color, yellow, red, orange.
  • English Country: As you can see in the photo to the right, English country is an Old World inspired theme that has a very light color palette and is a combination of cozy and simple with some farm inspired detailing.
  • Mediterranean: This theme is vibrant and rustic at the same time which is what makes it so much fun. It has lots of arches and dome-like architectural designs, as it is an Old World design.
  • French Country: This theme is a little more colorful and textural than English country. It does however offer the comfortable and cozy countryside feel to it.
  • Modern: This is becoming more and more popular by the day. It is very clean and organized using industrial materials and a black and white color palette with bold color of your choice.
  • Rustic: This is a perfect choice for old homes because you can really accentuate its features. Rustic homes bring a very cozy cabin-like feel to your kitchen and use woodsy elements like stone, wood, and timber.
  • Vintage: Vintage is definitely one of my favorites because you can recreate your kitchen into any era you want. Be it the Victorian era or the 20's, vintage is something that is entirely up to you and the era you want to recreate in you kitchen remodeling adventure.
  • Tuscan: This lovely Italian theme needs lots of aged woodwork and sunny colors and textures, like terra cotta, brick, yellow, orange, tan, etc.
  • Tropical: This is my personal favorite because it's a very vibrant, sunny, and beachy theme. You want some breezy colors like citrus palette combined blues and greens. You also definitely want natural elements and plant life here.
There ya go! If you're still indecisive or none of these themes are really your style, you can pick one or two and try combining them, or you can try to build off of whichever ones you like, or if you don't like any of these, try starting from scratch and creating your own theme! Whatever you decide to do make sure you don't get ahead of yourself and budget wisely. I'll be covering common kitchen remodeling mistakes later but the most important of all the lessons you can learn is to not do it all by yourself!!!! Happy Remodeling Los Angeles!
